HOLY CRAP! I'm re-looking into our old works, and B.E.R has an idea right there. See the magnetic weights? With the shaft, and there's a lightning bolt with a (!) by it? You could try to be escaping the Eraser, and jump up on the magnetic weights, but if YOU'RE TOO SLOW, then the shaft shuts down, no longer holding the weights in place. (Thus falling to your death.)
